Refund policy
All coffee sales are final. We don't accept returns on opened or unopened bags for taste preference — coffee is a perishable food product and we can't resell it once it leaves our hands. If something goes wrong on our end or in transit, we will make it right.
WHAT WE COVER
Contact us within 7 days of delivery if any of the following apply:
- Damaged in shipping — bag arrived crushed, punctured, or with compromised seals. Send us a photo and we'll reship or refund.
- Wrong item sent — you ordered one thing and received another. We'll send the correct order immediately.
- Defective product — something is clearly off with the coffee (unusual smell, visible contamination, obvious quality issue). Send a photo and description and we'll investigate.
For Artisan Collection drops specifically: because we roasted that bag ourselves and it shipped within 48 hours of roast, we stand behind every bag. If there's any issue with an artisan drop, email us directly and we'll handle it personally.
WHAT WE DON'T COVER
- Taste preference — coffee is subjective and all sales are final once shipped
- Incorrect grind size ordered — please double-check before purchasing
- Delays caused by the carrier once the package is in transit
- Packages marked delivered by the carrier but reported missing — file a claim with the carrier first, then contact us
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT
Email us at hello@good-dog-roasters.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo if the issue is physical. We'll respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
ARTISAN COLLECTION — SPECIAL NOTE
Artisan drops are small-batch, hand-roasted, and ship to Florida addresses only under Florida's Cottage Food Law. We cannot accept returns for any reason other than damage or fulfillment error. Every bag is roasted fresh for that specific drop.
EVERYDAY COLLECTION — DRIPSHIPPER ORDERS
Our Everyday Collection is fulfilled by a licensed commercial roaster through our fulfillment partner. All sales final, exceptions for damage or wrong items. If there is a fulfillment error, contact us and we will coordinate the resolution on your behalf.
FLORIDA CONSUMER NOTICE
Under Florida Statute 501.142, perishable food products are exempt from the standard return assumption. Our no-return policy on coffee is fully compliant with Florida law.
